My name is
Roberto Dillon
and I am an Italian computer engineer living in Singapore where I am
working in the fascinating world of video games.
I am
currently the Game Design Department Chair at the DigiPen Institute of Technology
where I am teaching different game design subjects, including "Game Mechanics", "Game History","2D Level Design" and others for the B.Sc. and B.A. degrees in Game Design.
In these pages I'll share some of my own ideas, views, slides presented at conferences around the world, little silly games I did in my spare time just for fun and anything I see fit, so feel free to browse around: you'll never know what you could find here! :P
If you are looking for some information about my books "On the Way to Fun: an Emotion based Approach to Successful Game Design" and "The Golden Age of Video Games", you can check the Books page.
Obviously, I'd be really happy if you get the book and let me know what you think about it.
Have fun and feel free to get in touch with me at roberto {at} ProgramAndPlay {dot} com !
